ELA for April

Hi Friends,
I hope you are doing well and staying safe.
Although we must stay home and social-distance, I would like to do something for you and your students. By joining my email list today, you will receive a week's worth of ELA activities. The theme is RAINBOWS. I would also like to share the 3 other ELA for April packs that are included in my ELA for the Month of April Bundle

Five for Friday

Hey Everyone,
I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for some Five for Friday Fun!

1. The Learning Station

Have you checked out Storyline Online?

It's a great site that allows you to PLAY stories for your students. They are also narrated by celebrities who model great intonation and fluency!

My kiddies love I Need my Monster and Library Lion.

2. Spring Happenings

I love Spring and my kiddies love learning about Spring!

3. Rihanna

Rihanna gave an awesome performance 2 nights ago!
She sang all her hits including my favorite of all STAY!

Clearly, I wasn't the only one singing along!

4. Earth Day

We do a lot in our school and in our classroom to take care of our planet. We recycle, we don't waste paper, we use natural lighting, and so much more.

I can't wait to teach my kiddies more about what they can do to help the Earth. This Earth Day pack requires almost NO PREP and teaches students all about composting, recycling, and more.

It's a fun way to celebrate the Earth!

5. End of the Year HELPERS!

The end of the year is approaching and that means focusing on certain skills AND testing! I find it difficult at times to assess students individually during class time. These NO PREP packs help keep the rest of the class engaged and quiet!

Spring Activities

Hello Everyone,
We have had so much fun reading writing and learning about RAIN!

Here's a little throwback with some new material too!!!
A glimpse at last year's door... Still working on this year's Spring door!

We read about Tommy and his love for playing outside.
We always have a grammar focus in our lessons. Today, I wanted to make sure they stuck to one verb tense in their writing!

Then we wrote our own rainy day stories!

I love the way they turned out! The kiddies have come SUCH a long way and Writer's Workshop is our favorite block!

After we wrote our stories, we made some rainy day crafts! They are adorbs! I can't!!!

Here is our Spring Bulletin Board!

The kiddies were so interested in RAIN that we read some more about how it all is formed in my Spring Non-Ficiton Mini-Book. They loooooove reading these non-fiction books and they get to bring them home and share their new knowledge with their families!

I also test their new knowledge with the accompanying comprehension questions!
WIN/WIN Really!

Click on the pictures below to check out these two packs!

Until next time...
