ELA for April

Hi Friends,

I hope you are doing well and staying safe.
Although we must stay home and social-distance, I would like to do something for you and your students. By joining my email list today, you will receive a week's worth of ELA activities. The theme is RAINBOWS. I would also like to share the 3 other ELA for April packs that are included in my ELA for the Month of April Bundle.

I will be starting off with the Kite pack so that the kiddies can learn and practice Spring vocabulary and just get into the season!

We will start the week off with a read aloud and some writing of our own.

Then we will reread the read aloud and work on fluency and comprehension.

We will also write a reading response.

We will also learn all about wind complete an experiment and even make a pinwheel.

Next, we will be learning about Earth Day!

I'm really excited about this one!

Once again, we will read the story and write our own stories.

Then, we will work on fluency, comprehension, and response.

Finally, we will complete some sorting activities and a craft!

I love it! Earth Day is such a fun and important theme. 

Next up, it's all about Spring Poetry!

We will read and write all about poetry! 

We will also learn how to write different types of poems and create a craft.

Poetry week will be so much fun! 

Our final week will be all about Rainbows of course!
