Hi Cyber Friends!
I have missed you so! I'm so glad to be back home and to be able to properly blog again! As you may know, I spent a great part of my summer vacation in Europe and had the time of my life! I have been out of the blogging loop for a while and am glad to be able to get back into it! Time for some major blog stalking and some catch up posts!
As I mentioned in previous posts, I am implementing a year long Safari Theme (I will obviously incorporate other themes throughout the year, but my classroom will remain in Safari Mode!) in my classroom and have been hard at work setting up and creating brand new material for this very exciting theme! I like to go all out and am very excited about the way my classroom is turning out! With the help of my friends and fellow teachers Jade and Reshma (they are awesome) I am slowly creating the most beautiful classroom I have ever had the privilege to teach in! I can't wait to share pictures and ideas with you!
For now, I thought I'd share some pictures from my trip to Europe. It was fabulous! I traveled with one of my very best friends, Julie, and we visited Italy, Greece, Spain, England, and France!
Here's a little peek into our trip!
We had a wonderful time in Rome!
This HAS to be my all time FAVORITE Italian word!
WE went to Venice! It was BEAUTIFUL!
My parents were born in a village called Apiranthos. It is on the Island of Naxos in Greece and is one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the privilege to visit!
This donkey happens to be my neighbor there!
This is a beautiful beach in Naxos!
My village consists of marble stairs! Let me tell you, it's quite a great way to stay in shape!
The Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Just one of the many architectural masterpieces created by the GENIUS Gaudi!
A view of Barcelona from above!
The Rock of Gibraltar! What a magnificent place!
There are wild apes walking around the observation deck. Unfortunately, as these creatures have minds of their own, they can be quite stubborn when posing for pictures! Quite frankly, this little guy was not happy to have me so close to him and I was too frightened to wait for him to look at the camera! I settled for this picture!
I had to take a photo of myself in the red phone booth! It was a must!
Monet's gardens in Giverny!
I never get tired of looking at the Tour Eiffel. Paris is just so magical!
I am so glad to have shared some of my vacation moments with all of you and can't wait to start sharing teaching ideas again! Only two more days until the kiddies come in! I'm so excited!
Until next time...
Ms. Nicole xo

Ms. Nicole,
ReplyDeleteWhat font do you use for the top or your blog?
Thanks!
Tara
Hi Tara, It's not a font! They are graphics I purchased from Scrappindoodles. They are called "jungle letters and numbers" and can be found right here: http://www.scrappindoodles.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=3176
