BTS Treats for You!

Hi Everyone!
Back again with some treats for all of you!

A few BTS Freebies to make the return to school a little more fun!

Be sure to stop by my little store to check out some of my freebies!
Here are just a few that can definitely make BTS a little easier...

I spent two years in a rainforest themed classroom. Therefore I needed a Sounds Tree, an Explorer of the Week (little play on Student of the Week), and an inflatable Take Home Monkey Friend!

What fun!
You can grab these freebies by clicking on the pictures above!

Some staples in my classroom are definitely the Birthday Folder and Portfolios. The Birthday Folder makes our little birthday boys and girls feel special on their day and the portfolio is such a great way to showcase students progress and work.

As mentioned in previous posts, I am a big fan of the word wall. I think it is an essential tool for ANY classroom and teaches students to become independent writers as well as editors!

These adjective and verb word walls help my little writers add a little "umph" to their stories. I often challenge them to include 2-3 words from each word wall in order to create a more engaging story.

This last Freebie was loads of fun! It's a great BTS craftivity because it allows students to be a little silly and to open up! They often come in with a few jitters and taking it down a notch with some funny writing really lightens the mood!

One last treat! My store is on sale for one more day!
More Savings for all of you!!!!

I hope some of these freebies can be useful to you!
Wishing you all a great back to school season!

Until next time...

The BIG 3-O and a Freebie for YOU!

Hi Friends,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I sure did! Spent my Birthday Weekend with some great friends and had an awesome time. It was the big 3-O and I don't think I have ever felt so special! My students were soooooooo sweet!
I think they were more excited for my birthday then they usually are for their own!

Here I am with my bestie! Leslie, from First Grade Frenzy
Yes, you are seeing right! That's a frozen hot chocolate from Serendipity and we enjoyed every sip and spoonful of it! Yummmmmmmmm!

My other bestie, Val from All Students Can Shine, also came along and we all had quite a fun time!

My birthday dinner was at Tao (one of my fav restaurants) and this guy right here was my special date for the night! Hehe!

Like I said, I love the place!

I have to say that I truly do have the best family and friends, but I also have the most wonderful, caring,  thoughtful, and loving students. They were so excited and made my day EXTRA special.

They showered me with love and made me smile all day long!

I love these kiddies... "You are a talented teacher" And... "Emprotate" means "Appropriate" I sometimes use the phrase "Please don't do or say that, it's inappropriate/not appropriate" I'm glad to know that I am, in fact, appropriate! HeHeHe!

My fifth grade students really surprised me (with the help of their science teacher)! This was so cool, but also slightly creepy (staring at 16 kids with my face on! Oiiiiii!)! But, wow, did I ever have a good laugh and so did the kiddies!

My colleague photocopied my face and made Ms. Nicole masks! When I walked into the room, they all put on the masks and began to sing "Happy Birthday." I have to admit it was quite the performance and something I will never forget!

Ok so, seeing as though it was my BIG 3-O and I got beyond spoiled, I thought I'd spoil all of you with a little Birthday Freebie!

This sweet little freebie includes four activity sheets and one birthday certificate.

You can grab yourself a FREE copy right over HERE!

Stop by again tomorrow to see how my kiddies did with my Love'Bot Craftivity!
It's super cute and well worth the visit! They are so good with crafts!
