Five for Friday

Hey Everyone,
I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for some Five for Friday Fun!

1. Wedding Shenanigans

When one of your bestie's calls and asks if you can be her date to a wedding, you throw on a little black dress and some heels and you party all nigh long! My friend's husband couldn't make it so I stepped in and (according to her) I was a great replacement! We had fun introducing me as George (her husband) and I asked her to dance many times and checked that her glass was always full.

I'd say I'd make a fine husband!

2. The Amazing Race (Mall Edition)

My colleagues organized the most amazing group activity!
We were given 45 minutes to run around the mall and take selfies (some more embarrassing than others). I recommend this as a fun, free team building activity. It was great fun!

Let the records show that my team won!

3. Summer Fun

I am holding on to the last bits of Summer and soaking up the sun as much as possible!

4. LCEEQ Math Workshop

A few colleagues from my team and I went to a Math Retreat in Mont Saint Sauveur (Up North in Quebec) and learned sooooooo much! I'll be blogging more about what I learned  and how I conduct math lessons in my classroom in a few weeks.

For now I will leave you with this picture of our
sugar filled, board games playing, laugh all night picture!

So much fun to get away with friends!

5. Math Centers, Math Word Wall & Games

If you haven't checked out my Math Centers for the Year Bundle, take a look. I have 9 more center packs (36 more centers in all) to add so you can grab it right now for a discount price.
It's a growing bundle!

They are the perfect addition for my centers!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching!

Until next time...

  1. Looks like a great week. The Amazing Race Mall Edition looks like a lot of fun. Is it available online?

    1. They just made up a bunch of silly challenges... Like take a selfie with sunglasses on. Take a selfie with a salesperson. etc... You could probably find ideas online for sure!
