Back to School (Part 2 - SHOPPING)

Hey Friends!

Hope you're all doing well!

For some of you, the Back to School rush is almost behind you! Well, for me, it's loooooooming!!! We go back August 25th and the kiddies come in August 31st.
Here are some things I have been doing to prepare!

SHOPPING

Every year I tell myself that I won't spend. I have to admit that, although I DO in fact still spend on my classroom, I have at least cut it down, A LOT!

I have narrowed down my shopping list to absolute necessities.

Supplies is at the top.

This is where Costco and Micheals take all my money.

- Card Stock
- Glue Sticks
- Construction Paper
- White Out
- Markers
- Tissue Paper

I also got my hands on some great little treats for Birthdays!
These great finds are from Teacher Created Resources

These slap bracelets bring me right back to my childhood! We won't discuss how long ago that was!

I may have overestimated how many pointers I ACTUALLY needed.

The chevron ones are from  Teacher Created Resources and the others from Target.

I have spent the last few years jumping from grade to grade and classroom to classroom and with that always came a decor change. I decided to save myself some money and A LOT of time and will keep the same theme this year.

In turn, I bought a few pieces to spruce things up and add a little change to the current look.

This awning and these bright lanterns from TeacherCreated Resources are going to be great additions to my already very colourful, very neon classroom!

Finally, I splurged a little on these Marquee Letters from Micheals
I plan to spell out R.E.A.D
(I have the other letters, no worries!)

A few other bloggers posted these great finds on Instagram and I just had to get them too!

Overall, I think I did pretty good!
Although my wallet is a little thinner it's not COMPLETELY empty like other years!

Didn't spend too much and managed to get a bunch of supplies, treats for the kiddies, and some special little touches to add to the vibrant, fun feel of my classroom.

Have you checked out my Back to School

Be sure to check in Thursday for my Back to School (Part 3 - PINNING) post!

So tell me... What's on your shopping list????

Until next time...
